And that island thing is a scam. I've been reading the forums at buysealand.com and it's just comical how clueless all those people are. For one, they're not going to raise $20,000,000. If they did somehow manage to obtain that, there's the problem of nearby nations and they're armies and navies. And supposing they get past all that, they still need to be entirely self-sufficient. And then there's that small problem of not having any females on the island...

The meat of the matter is they are keeping this idea, of the rights of individuals.........even the one's without money....... alive.
I wont be sending them my checks but if they can keep the site open then I feel more power to them.

Yeah, on the other hand it seemed like they had another agenda. If they knew their finances or not - that went nowhere. They blew the chance to find out some interesting stuff. Kind of a waste if you ask me.

Though Project Sealand is belly up, the spirit of Freedom is still and alive and well. A breakout-group has formed The FreeNation Foundation and intends to buy an island to create a new nation.
I'd honestly be interested in this project if it weren't just a bunch of 15 year old gamers.

Then lets start our own project, we can be the slightly-over-15-gamers-that-don't-actually-ever-get-a-chance-to-game-anymore-because-of-work Island.
