Theres no sense in using Win98. If you have an old machine that cant run XP and u cant buy a new one try at least WinNT4 or Win2000.
Oh ! I have a system running Win98 SE

'cos theres an old vinil cutting plotter attached to it and the driver just works under Win95/95 OSR-2 or Win98/98 SE, otherways i would have moved from it years ago :cigar:

Anyway i dont care about the suppot thing, everything is up to date by now (except the OS itself, LOL...) and such computer rarely connects to the internet. B)

Oh well as years go by people would not even have heard of Windows 98. I mean lets face it how many people talk about Windows 1.01?

No one, cos its rubbish. Windows 98 was the better 95. Once it got to 98SE it was perfected and somehow ME got completely messed up. MS could of had some fun there...

I dunno simon, i remember 95 and NT4 got support but the internet wasnt what it is. so maybe not as good for getting patches.

I wonder when they will drop support for nt and 2000. They are getting old to. To me, them ending support means, them not worrying bout licenced copies of them LOL.
