i had forgotten just how great server '08 was, and to find out it got even better in the R2 release. it is faster than win7, lighter, and even with the bells and whistles on, it is still quick on it's feet :giggle: i'm lovin' it.

there are a few items that need to be ironed out and feature focuses still ongoing like power shell. look for some official announcements soon, but don't read anything into "sources close to Microsoft". you see, when said in a geographically form, technically it's not a lie, but since i live in California, closer to Microsoft than you, my word is golden, but since Christo lives in Washington, his words supersedes mine.

:giggle: We are installing Server 08 with hyper-V to run VMs of: Server 08 running SQL, SBS 2008 and probably a few XP's that run our timeclock software and stuff. The install goes on this weekend.

Oh, and no Win7 yet huh guys? Push it back push it back, waaaaaay back (okay, not really). ;)
