Well, basically, take an old optical mouse
Take off all the parts of the casing, except the frontbottom and top, so you still have a place to mount the buttons to.
Tape the mouse together (remove the bottom plate of the mouse!)
Take a small stuffed animal, cut a hole in it's belly, and it's mouth/rear
empty the animal, insert the mouse controller, route the wire through to it's exitpoint.
Tape it all with matching-color Duct-Tape and sew the tape to the animal-skin
that's it basically, you'll end up with something like this:

Hehe I understand. I don't listen their music very much anymore but it's the group that made me discover metal so I have kind of a special relationship with Nightwish.
