Hello rookies, first off rookies are the might of all teams. There is much honor in rookiness. I luv and respect you all. I have decided the discussion for the rookie limit is done. I do not want to hear no whining and I will not hear no whining. I have decided that rookiness to seasoned folder is 30,000 points. I also hold the authority to raise this as our team grows. Rookies are the backbone of all teams and all military units. Rookies should be proud as there is no dishonor in rookiness. You rookies fold your a-- off I will settle for no less!!! ;)

Well Im impressed with the attitude of all you teamates. And am glad that the bar I have set at 30.000 point has not been complained about one time. My motto is nothing in life worth doing will not be easy. And as far as Nvyseal giving er all the power shes got. Well it shows by your point total you have not been a rookie for quite some time now. You show great example and great leadership for all rookies. Its members like you and the other team leaders that motivate us all! ;)

it doesn't give the option of setting "affinity" @ install, and there are mention of issues if installed and runnig from the same directory...i could see if it will make it's own separate one, and not attempt to install to the existing one...

UPDATE: nope, won't work. darn...

I have tryed that on Ubuntu and got it to work. I created two directories folding and folding2. It worked ok for a while and I did increase my points for a while. But when you get two large WU's at the same time it really slows down and creates a lot of stress on your system. Then F@H came out with new SMP WU's and I think they may have added somthing to prevent two instances on one system (that is just a guess of mine not a fact). I am not suggesting in any way this will work with the Windows SMP, and I realy dont recommend it. I dont do it anymore myself. Just relaying my experience with this exact subject. ;)

well, if i install and run it from another drive (D, as apposed to C), it may work. problem is, is mandriva resides there...so either double folding, or linux OS...

Yeh you can monitor the console or GUI client. I've used EMIII or FAHMON. I dont know what happened to the EMIII download page though. So I think you are stuck with FAHMON which I think i like more anyhow.

http://fahmon.silent...n=Main.Download

Edit: Sorry bout my last post I misunderstood and thought you were trying to run two Windows SMP clients. ;) I havent run the windows console clients in a while but I remember you have to lable them core 0 and core 1 and give them both different machine ID #'s.
