Why is there hardly no compatible programs for a 64 bit compiuter? Usually, everytime I go to downlaod a familar program, it gives me the message: not for 64 bit computers?

I've noticed hardly any programs are out there for 6r bit computers.

Can anyone tell me why? I just don't understand. :bluerip:

(like Google Desktop, Registry cleaners, even music programs, etc)

Actually I don't agree. I've yet to find any software (with the exception of drivers and most ASUS apps) that won't work on my 64bit OS. If you're downloading software then I suggest you look on that same site for a 64bit version.

EDIT: Actually, Photoshop CS3 does NOT like Windows 7 at all.

Thanks! I found out there were not many programs with it when I HAD to get a new computer. I didn't even know it was a 64 bit at the time. Guess I just wait until they get more. I'm not hurting though. There are still advantages of having a 64 bit. (I can watch movies and TV shows without my computer logging off or blocking me!!! I love the fact that my new computer is more up to date and more reliable---even though I do complain---SOMETIMES!!)

I still am learning as we all are!! :chriso: (Just love these little guys too!)
