I'm just curious... but does anyone know of a way to turn a laptop LCD screen into a destop monitor... what I mean is does anyone know of a wiring diagram of what the wires in a regular monitor do and those in a laptop LCD. Yeah I know I should just buy one... but I'm a curious person and I have to see if it can be done.

hmm I'm not gonna stuff up a laptop.. it's a beautiful screen, but the laptop seems err... messed up and I'd like to salvage the screen, and make some use of it :P I might umm try my own way :(

If you're good with wires and want to try splicing a connector, go ahead :P

But i can't guarantee it's gonna work after that :)

Not sure, my IBM netvista would work with my spare laptop screen cos i looked.

But the difference is that this is a full system and all of its in one unit.
