Hi people, I wanted to install something new on my laptop so I thought to try x64bit vista. Anyone recommends it? Thanks!

If you are willing to jump through a few hoops to get Vista to behave then it is worth the effort (most times). I have tried both the 32 bit and 64 bit and have both loaded (in one form or another) on my current systems. Do some reading about how to tame/tuneup/slim down Vista and give it a try. It is truly an experience. Good Luck...talker. :yay2:

nabz0r, just ignore mr poopy pants above...

make sure you have your manufacturers drivers for everything (some fan controlling drivers might be needed, for instance), and that you have sufficient memory (vista will use the odd gig idling).

Pah...Vista haters! :(

:yay2: Vista is great, as long as you have the space and power to let it reach it's full potential.
