What would be the best vid card for today's games and tomorrows? the Ati Radeon 4890, or something like a Radeon 5750 with dx11? thanks!

heres what im planning on thus far:

Amd Phenom II & Gigabyte mobo

Corsair 4gigs DDR3

Western Digital Black 500GB

and i plan on sticking with my liteon dvd-rw and TrueBlue 480watt PSU

Looks good. DX 9 is the way to go. Great Price. BTW, you running a intel now? will that PSU work with a AMD? and SATA? 450 is kinda on the low side for these new GPU's

I think its 480. i plan on ripping apart the pc to remove all the dust bunnies tomorrow; Ill look to see if it has the proper adapters. If not, ill upgrade And yes I currently have a P4

I think I would spring the extra 10$ which you'll save in s/h anyway....even Rik will agree with me on this bad boy..link..ps: u can use these psu's for light to medium arc welding if u have the need..these suckers are built like swiss clocks, immaculate inside.. LOL

nah, unless you are thinking of oc'ing, but with that stock clock speed, i don't see why you would.

Quick question for you guru's. With the Gigabyte mobo GA-MA790GPT-UD3H , I plan on running crossfire by this summer. Now here's the question, will this support crossfire x 16, or will it be crossfire at x 8. I've researched and haven't found a direct answer.
