In Longhorn builds, you must have your BIOS date set to a certain time & year to allow the OS to install.
Here is a list of Windows Codename Longhorn builds and the dates your BIOS must be set to:

Longhorn Build 3683:
September 23, 2002

Longhorn Build 3706:
October 29, 2002

Longhorn Build 3718:
November 19, 2002

Longhorn Build 4008:
February 19, 2003

Longhorn Build 4011:
March 5, 2003

Longhorn Build 4015:
March 28, 2003

Longhorn Build 4028:
July 1, 2003

Longhorn Build 4029:
June 19, 2003

Longhorn Build 4033:
July 17, 2003

Longhorn Build 4051:
October 1, 2003

Longhorn Build 4053:
October 22, 2003

Longhorn Build 4074:
April 25, 2004

Longhorn Build 4083:
May 16, 2004

Longhorn Build 4093:
August 19, 2004

Note: For Longhorn builds 4074, 4083, & 4093, BIOS dates are not neccesary, they simply mark the build's compile date.
