Hey everyone ever wanted to see what Linspire is all about. It is known for being the easiest Linux distro to use. Personally I can not confirm this but I can confirm it usually costs 49.99 USD. Linspire is now offering it for free download go here register and see what happens? ;)

I went and checked it out its a Debian-based Linux distribution, that would make it similar to Ubuntu :chriso:

If you follow that link in my first post and use the code provided, you can get a copy of Linspire for free. <_< Thats if it is not too late. I have not downloaded my copy yet, the servers are very busy but the free download is in my account.

The next version of Linspire will be based on Ubuntu. It should be out in a few months.

That usually means all the free copies have been taken. It is just a promotional deal and am sure they limited the # of OS's to be given away. I got mine in my Linspire account but have not been able to download it yet their servers are too busy. At least that is what I am hoping, I am looking forward to checking out Linspire.

I gues I got the code submitted in time. I have a free linspire .iso now. It is the full version with full support. Cant wait to try it out. I did have to wait a while the servers were crushed for a while. :offtopic:

EDIT: Finally got on a server and downloaded my free copy of Linspire, goint to try it on my 3200+. I would not have paid for it but for free what the heck, full support and all that unlike freespire.

ZOMBIE CRANBERRIES!!

Sorry to burst your bubble guys but I gotta tell you.. From personal experience and having tried Lindows 3.0 (old linspire); Linspire 4.5 and Linspire 5.0 and Freespire 1.0... They are and were all cr@p!

Use a real distro but not an imitation
