As part of my efforts to know other OS i decided to play with Solaris 10.
I've just finished the download of th parts (.NOS files)... the DVD image is being mounted right now !
Have someone already played with Solaris ?
I would like to have some feedback before installing it.
thanks,

I would also play around with it as well, but my biostar board hates Linux. I've tried Ubuntu with it but no luck. Maybe if i try a differnent distro?

Well Ive used Solaris 10 and all I can say is u betta have a hell of a processor and **** loads of ram...Even on my Pentium D (when I used to have a 945 chipset board which died in a tragic Ln2 Spill)in my sig it ran like a f#cking DOG and waz an absolute biatch to get running and as for the latest developers edition then u have time to boil water and make a coffee before it is fully loaded. It is java based so it seem to rape the **** out of the old pentium Ds
