I get an 0x000000a error on every occasion.
Even when trying to reinstall, I get this error thrown to me.
A MemTest proves nothing wrong with the memory, the system has besides the CPU and drives, no other peripherals, I'm kinda lost on what's going on.
Originally, the system ran Vista, which had the problem, reinstalling Vista fails, installing 7 fails.
Anyone has any clue on what's going on?
I've already tried a RAM remap, and different RAM-strips. Nothing works, I'm kinda lost on what to do next.
I can't install Linux on this system, it's a system for a kid, that plays a lot of games. Linux does not encounter any problems btw.

It's a driver incompatibility error, possibly as a result of conflicting IRQ's.
Remove unnecessary hardware and start a process of elimination, preferably before a fresh install of the OS.
Bare system to get OS installed - add hardware after, one by one until you find the culprit

I also get his once in a while (much less than 1-2 years ago though, when I could have 1 a day). It started when I first installed my d-link USB Wi-Fi adapter, so it's probably related to it. It has happened on XP SP2 and 3, Vista and 7, all 32-bit. Some bad compatibility with the hardware I presume, as scara said too.

Ok, I'm gonna go for Vista 64 then, I hope it'll solve that. (No, not gonna spend a 7-license on it, unless you are willing to donate one)
