What the deal with "ipods" anyway? Doesn't it make more sense to buy a another brand of portable music device? I mean there are so many that are identical, if not better right?

Well if they were identical or better and if they cost the same or less I'd buy it. So far no. I haven't seen it.
I recently read an article (wish I saved it) that stated something like iPods were only designed to last a couple of years (was my impression-not a quote). If another company designs to last and is as good I would luv to here about it. That would be my next purchase. I don't like hearing about things not lasting. And at these prices...wooow.

I haven't seen/ heard any real problems from iPods except recently where some of the new iPods acutally got shipped with Viruses ROFL that was humorous... but other than that, I see idiots who give them to their 8 y/o children and bring them back in demolished, or I see people my own age who have been carless and broke the screens, that's about it.

Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to sell you an iPod, honestly I thought they were retarded... then I got one, I changed my mind  I'm just stating in my profession I see very few problems out of them is all.
