If you can't get WMP11 for XP yet then the skin is a good substiture. Downloading now

To turn off the visualisation just click the tick at the top near the minimize button.
You are not going mad if you hear a sound every time you enable this skin...it plays a little intro tune :smoke:

If the visualization is annoying, there is a tick in the top right you can click and it turns it off

I hate the visualizations, they take up so much ram and they do so little
