Anyone else seen (click at your own risk) this? It's been a while since I logged in there but recently I decided to see if anything new was going on over there. There certainly was. The site has been blocked by Google and labeled as a reported attack page... WUWT?

Athildja probably went rogue. He was always a prick but, even more, an unsophisticated, mouth-breathing, '50 year-old virgin' type guy that could "really admin a CMS" (Bwahahahahahah!!!!) until he took your ball and went home.

I haven't been on that site in years but it wouldn't be a surprise that he wigged out and started injecting malware into their build. Why? Well, because he "WAS AN ADMIN GOTDAMMIT WHERE DOES I GET PAID?!?"

I forgot all about PAMD64 to be honest. Been YEARS since I went there.

EDIT: After reading the Google diagnostic on the site it looks like it was hacked to death = "Of the 441 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 98 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent"

That's a pretty alarming number pf infected pages!

Actually, It could be relatively easy to fix. The malicious code could be hiding in someones signature. We have ours blocked not to allow this to run, but it can easily be overlooked by a careless administrator(s). All they have to do is turn off the avatar and sig settings and see if the problem is resolved.

It wasn't Athildja. He isn't part of the staff there anymore. Guess I will remove the Planets bookmark. I know one of the admins are aware of the problem and one the Mods as well but nothing has been done.

Welcome back blueice, good to see you here again. hopefully things over at the other side will resolve itself. until then, make yourself at home, and invite your friends if you want companionship.

We have our site locked down TIGHT, but our admins will relax validation for about a week. new members will not be able to change their profile settings until about 10 posts. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we have to do this for spam/security reasons.
