XP is a great operating system, a sound base for any of the tasks you undertake...
Why not complete it and use Nlite?

it makes the install better... you edit it how you see fit and create an ISO, so you can burn to cd... use that instead of regular winxp installation cd

I use this program myself. Cut WindowsXP Pro SP2 down to ~150megs, compared w/ the ~550megs of a normal install.
Now my second computer (500mhz celeron, 128 ram), runs WinXP as good as my (3.2ghz, 1 gig ram) machine .
