Firstly make sure your partitions are correct, to save problems giving each installation a seperate partition.

Then install the OLDEST Windows first, so if you wanted XP and 98, Windows 98 would go on First and common sense says install it to the first partition.

Now after installing Windows 98 to the first partition install XP to the second Partition and you've done!

To manage partitions in Windows 98 use Fdisk, Windows installs before 2000 (apart from Windows NT) need a Fat16/32 Parition, Windows XP performs best on an NTFS partition as does Server 2003.

Windows NT as far as i remember won't work on partitions above 5 or 8GB, something like that.

Well you can resize partions and create free space etc and much more by using a special utilty. Like Partition Magic that is a fantastic program I have used it many times and it is truly brillent.

You may want to try GParted as well.
Linux based with an easy to use GUI
(Even for "Dumb as a rock" me)
You'll absolutely love it.

I guess I'm pretty stupid. I'd LOVE to partition my harddrive but just don't know How to do it. I have a 250 gig Western Digital. ANY help would be GREATLY appricated.

Go For PARTITION MAGIC, watch their Flashy introduction, on "how to?".. and check that programs Help Files

Btw yes.. Tweak is right.. check windows Help Files.. and or if you have retail Windows Version, check Manual Book, and you will definitely find Partitioning Section..

Yeah, i've used Partition Magic 8 (although it will only let me do 4 partitions (non-logical)), and i have used Vista's built in partitioner as well.
