This is great!
However I thought it would have been here 2 years ago.
I'm imagining what kind of light fixtures I'll have for my space. Right now its pretty much the monitor lighting things up

Cool!! I like LED's a lot!! I wonder if they will have different colors for us to chose from?! And maybe a way to program patterns for the lights to go in.

A lumen (lm) is the unit of measurement for the amount of light emitted by a light source. A 60-watt light bulb emits 730 lm, while a 50-watt halogen lamp has an output of approximately 900 lm.These LEDs emit neither UV rays nor heat, which means they have virtually no negative impact on delicate grocery items such as milk, meat, fruit and vegetables.
Thats awesome... low power consuption, healthy light and no heat !

YEAH!
As for the colors I think its just a matter of tinting the lenses. Programing patterns - Go for it!
Imagine this - instead of disco ball that reflects light - a ball made of programed LEDs
OK, maybe not. hehe

Sure why not!!! LED's are the future!! I doubt regular bulbs will be around that much longer.

I like that they are starting to use them in cars, about time!
