Ah, I shut it off if I am going to be doing any sort of gaming. But other then that it pretty much backs off for other apps so I hardly ever notice it! Very nice program.

I dont see why everyone doesnt do it? I see no effects on my preformance. Does anyone else?
nope. it uses the CPU very wisely. doesn't use any CPU power if another app needs it. I don't even turn it off when I'm gaming most times

LOL, that would be funny if you had to leave it on that long inroder to get the points! In that case I doubt cancer would ever be cured this way. I don't think a pc could last three years being on all the time. hehehe

Don't worry Nvyseal it won't really take that long!! When they start out the clock is usually way off.

Hey Clark, glad to see you are interested. However, I can't explain it any better than Standford University can. Click on this link they have some really great info on their main page as you will see!

Chris, please don't hate me. We started our own Folding team from members on our forum so I'm going to be pumping all my CPU cycles into that. A few of our members (myself included) lost relatives to cancer so when I told them about Folding they all wanted to do it. I then decided to start an IBF2 Folding team of our own ... I hope you understand.

Yours

Dave

Got a big one too

Hey, that is ok!! It is all for the same cause!! So, I consider that good because doing it you were able to get more people introduced to it!
