PDC Windows7: anybody try it yet?

has anyone installed the pdc version of windows7? i might try it (x64) tomorrow...

I think you'll like it MO, from what i've read they have really refined Windows 7 to be a lean OS.

I believe Winbeta has the 64bit on TPB should be about 3.5gig

it doesn't have the new taskbar, but it is stable...

as in the"release" ms demo'ed at the pdc: it had bells and some whistles, and was as unstable as all get out :friends:
but this (6801) is the copy given to attendees. i'll try it. and as dave said (he being a bit ahead in the game here), it is lean, and i should like it...

they did good. a frickin rocket it is, and no drivers after install! browsing is nanoseconds fast. i can't believe it is this fast!
