Does anybody have a working 64bit driver for windows7 ultimate for the AHA 2944UW scsi card?

if win7 does not include one (the card is pretty ancient), you can either try using say an xpx64 driver (if available), and, if not using the card for a boot volume, forcing the driver using the compatibility options/allowing unsigned drivers, or try modding the drivers .inf for win7, and then attempting to force the driver through, because of the (lack of ) speed with said card, you must really need some cheap storage, as any inexpensive sata spinner (single)with decent cache should outperform a multi drive array (think a TB sata spinner with gobs of cache)in both performance and storage. if going for parity, think about two TB drives mirrored, of a couple of 500 gigers. why do you need to use the old card?

There is indeed an Xp 64 bit driver, but I really doubt that it will work on windows7 . I can try off course. I want to use this scsi driver for old expensive thermal printers used in the offshore industry that are useless when no driver is available for them.

what if you used a vm of xp? would a dual boot of a distro be a nono (they usually have great scsi support), or would this negate the software used?
