ok, i have been running this new fast "beta" browser, and enjoying it for day to day stuff (no banking, etc.), but i noticed that i am getting many more "bugs" left over from browsing (spyware/adware cookies, and the like), so i'm back to FF3. any other chrome users notice this, or is it just the results of my psudo illisit browsing habits?

(thanks for recommending those "sites", dave... :) )

Stopped using it, too insecure ATM.

I did notice that the Googleupdate.exe persisted on starting up, even though I disabled it from doing so in msconfig! :)

So I just deleted the actual file in the install folder, that done it lol :chriso:

hey scara, if you are in vista/server, msconfig does it. weird why xp don't. oh, maybe because i use
"tuneup utilities"...?

Yeah, I have stopped using Chrome as well.

did the same here, but i'm still using Chrome !

down loaded and installed......looked at it for about 5 minutes. It came off in less than another 5 minutes. :) :chriso:

Give it time. Its only been out for a couple of weeks. Our stats are showing it to be a pretty worthy opponent

I tried it too, but stopped using it. Not because I think it was bad, but because I didn't really need a new browser since Firefox worked fine enough for me. Of course I will give it another go, when it is later in development :)

Hmmm... remember when Longhorn 3683 came out... then when Longhorn 4021 came out... and then... it sucked ass. Now that Vista has been alive for a while and is no longer beta it is doing fine; on a personal level I still think it sucks but it does what MS says it does. Just give Chrome some time and use it when you don't need something that is 100% reliable and secure. :cc_surrender:

I have chrome back and running (firefox is still my default). I like chrome.

I like chrome, but I dont think since there are so many google ads, google will open it up to allow ad blocking, so FF here
