Hello everyone, I am sure most of you know I use Windows XP 64 Bit Edition on my PC. Only problem its the trial, I intend to buy it. But in the meantime does anyone know how to extend it beyond the 120 day trial limit (without reinstalling the entire os)

Why are you going to buy it??? Just wait another month and get Vista!!! Reinstall x64 so it gets you by until then.

you might try a rearm. i don't know if this will work, but give it a try: open a cmd window, and type in:
slmgr -rearm
if it is accepted, you will be prompted to restart. upon reboot, check to see if you are set back to the original amount of days alloted before you have to activate (just like the first time you installed the trial). you should be able to reenter your key, and reactivate, unless there is a "time bomb" for a certain defined date after which the rc will no longer run. best of luck m8 :scara:

Nope, even restarting the system in safe mode and then applying it. Anything else I can do?
