Hi everyone!

I wanted to let you know that WindowBlinds 6 was released today. You can get more info and screenshots here.

Quote

WindowBlinds 6 adds the ability to have "blurred glass" window borders on Windows XP which allows artists to make skins that could make Windows XP look virtually identical to Windows Vista.

WindowBlinds 6 also adds full support for customizing Microsoft's new Windows Vista operating system. Everything from Internet Explorer 7 skinning, Sidebar skinning to explorer backgrounds, WindowBlinds 6 skins virtually every element of Windows Vista while making full use of the hardware acceleration features on Windows Vista for maximum performance.

I downloaded the trial of Blinds and i couldn't really find an easy way to search and download Vista Only skins. Island, you might want to throw in a category for just Vista styles and themes (fully compatible ones). Also, it seemed that blinds doesn't work with UltraMon.

A few Apps do not like being skinned.......add it to the 'Change Look of Particular Application' exceptions list and tick 'Do Not Skin This Application'. :mail1:

Check the WindowBlinds skinning section @ Neowin

We added a "Vista" ready logo to the WindowBlinds gallery so users will know which skins are optimized for Vista. :rofl_mini:

Just a quick update.

Stardock released WindowBlinds 6.01 today. It was largely a maintenance release with several tweaks, but we also added 64-bit support for Windows XP. :scara:
