It does make one wonder why a major company would release a major product like this intended to be a mainstream OS in such a crippled state as to have such unknown, limited compatability. A risk I wouldn't take. It only seems possible in the event of no real compatition. Otherwise with supposedly so much at risk businesswise it would be insane. And yet ...

All I have to say is I was very impressed with the graphics the first time I installed a Vista beta. But my impression eneded there. I would never dog anyone that has had luck with Vista. I on the other hand (like WFO) do not have the time to make it work as it should. WFO I have recently been experimenting with Xubuntu for folding purposes only. You might want to look into it. This distro is way less demanding on resources than Ubuntu. Just a thought.

Well I was pronouncing it ex-ubuntu, but I guess according to the article it is zoo-buntu. Hmm I still like ex-ubuntu better!
