oh, the upload is killing my network: even though the upload is at a very consertive speed, my over all download went from 23megs to 132k...i don't get it. fulkin comcast...no streaming tv tonight

i just re installed windows7 over my morning coffee, and then did the "fix", but had to run to work. i'll check out the task manager and see what's what when i get a break.

I haven't messed with it much, but it kinda just seems like Vista 2 to me. Admittedly, I never really messed with Vista much either, but I honestly can't even tell the difference.

1gb RAM usage idle? Is that the way the OS is set up, like Vista was?

Well, to each their own. If you have a spare HD you're not doing anything with and want to check it out, go for it. However, if you've used Vista and didn't care for it I doubt this will impress you.

But that's just my opinion.
