I totally agree with you, unless things change drastically, we just have a Vista Update

Looks like they changed some GUI`s even during the setup, remember how different longhorn looked compared to the final build? Im sure in the next few years we will see hundreds of changes after the whole Vista fiasco...Microsoft doesnt want another one of them anytime soon.

My english is not perfect but I thought "good" meant something positive... :sphere: :g:

edit : Unless you meant "good at generating fiasco"?

Well.. vista was not a fiasco.. I like it a lot more than XP and its faster too on all my 3 machines. I still wanted something new. Vista was new and I was never disappointed. I expected issues, like XP had, but... Never expected the copy operation problem. They did get it right though but it took them almost a year for something SO basic and so intrinsic.

Anyways.. I hope windows 7 comes in much lighter and faster like server 08 is. It is fast... I like it... but they need a fresh up with some innovation like they did with office. I am still optimistic that they will pull something REALLY nice out of the hat.

Well, we should remember the road of changes that Vista had endured and how much it grew out of it's Longhorn stages :sphere:.

(P.S. Nice to be back here guys, haven't been here for a long time :g:. Karl, I know you're reading this :gsg9:)
