i do the "nointegrity" thing after the first boot in a new vista install, though my M-audio card has poor support on my tyan mobo, so i haven't tried it. i assumed this would work for the creative. i would disable the creative card in bios, install vista, do the "no" thing, download the audio drivers, reboot, and reactivate the creative, and as vista attempts to install the "new" device, go to device manager, and do the manual thing. i don't see why it wouldn't work (maybe creative didn't want give these steps, so as not to appear as "hacking" vista :D ).

Thanks Mo. I'll give it a try. The Creative drivers are time limited though. Which sucks

yeah, that "time limit" thing is weird...i don't see myself running out and getting a creative product anytime soon. or is the limit just for beta drivers?
