i'm also finding "spybot s and d": http://www.download....4-10122137.html
to be a fav on any windows OS. more updates as of late, also more "catches" then "adaware" atm.

Nope, on win98SE, it was just a download and install. with Gentoo it was a matter of emerging it. No problems encountered.
Only thing was I needed to download the mp3 encoder for it separately.

I like playing with a little free app, called tvuplayer. Can watch tv for free from your cpu, kinda interesting
