Good thing about installing 'Virtually'
, nothing like that to worry about, plus 'save machine states' for testing software that ain't gonna work or cock things up in the process

hook it back up
install vista boot pro on the "good" drive/os
choose "legacy" boot loader
breath deeply

Thanks, Mosephus. Worked like a charm.
So if I want to boot 7 now, do I pick that hard drive as the boot device or do I have to reset the option in Boot Pro? (curious)

if you had your other drive connected at the time of the windows7 install, you just might have to reset the boot to vista loader, as the vista loader was responsible for both oses to boot.

i have to say i'm much more impressed w/the 32bit version; it "works'', there are more things that are functional. and there is something about 7...it seems 'quiet' (that sounds weird...), as if the gui is more stable, and whatever is under the hood is staying under the hood, as if they were insulated from one another, working away quietly...ok, i got 3 hours sleep last night; what do you expect

I think its because drivers are working in parallel and services only load and run when called upon

hehe, if this were x64, i wouldn't look back, but they left out/didn't have the functionality going on w/ the x64 version as yet. it will get there

oh, have you tried that watermark removal trick? it didn't work w/x64 version as i recall.
