Never had Nvidia drivers crash on me yet, buggy yes, but no crashes Nu - must be 'cheap hardware' related :jerry:

Me and 2 freinds have been using the nvidia drivers for heaps long now in vista 64 and windows 7 64 with 8gb of ram, we have never seen any issues. Could this issue be specific to your hardware configuration sphere ?
