My coffee table laptop will be the "victim"...,I mean my test bench for SP3. I just use this laptop for reading the news while I watch TV and for research but nothing is stored on it. It is a P4 3.06 with 1 GB RAM and 128 MB Radeon 9000. It should be a good and safe place to test SP3...talker.

Let us know how it goes guys (got sick of games not working in Server, so decided to dual boot XP 32bit and server); thing about XP, one keeps on coming back for more

The install went without a hitch on the lappy. The only way I can tell that SP3 is there is on the Systems General tab. If I notice anything in the next few days, I will post back...talker.

well, my storage controller took a dump again (vista), so i'm back in xp, and sp3! works great so far
