I look for performance #1 I say if your going to do it do it right, and I'm not afraid to spend money to get it. About a year ago I bought a Laptop, 1.8 Ghz Centrino, 1 GB RAM, 100 GB HD, 15.4 in' screen, and I made sure it came with windows XP Pro. It had wireless and a few other features, since it was custom built no real warrenty came with it, 6 months after I bought it, it died I believe it over heated due to me blocking the intake holes so that's $2500 down the hole.

So now I stick with desktop systems. when I built my computer like 3 weeks ago performance was the first thing on my mind. when it came to the coling system I was tempted to use a liquid cooling system, but went with fans as I heard that was enough the case I have came with 2 fans and room for 1 more :)
