I believe the actual codenaming of future versions of Windows goes like this:
"Fiji" - This will be released (maybe) in late 2007 and be a major (R2) update to Windows Vista. It will contain a number of updated features (new Media Centre) and a major kernal update to bring the kernal to the same version as Windows "Longhorn" Server.
"Vienna" - This is currently set to be another major update to Windows Vista (think XP SP2) due in late 2008 but probably 2009.
"Blackcomb" - Originally the name for XP's successor "Blackcomb" is set to be the next major release of Windows after Windows Vista (possibly around 2010). It is unclear if the "Blackcomb" codename applies to the next workstation or server version of Windows.

I believe that Fiji is gonna be an update to Vista, but not before late 2008 or even 2009; Blackomb/Vienna will be a new OS and wont be released before late 2010 or even early 2011.

Blackcomb was meant to be the successor to Vista [Longhorn] but was renamed to Vienna, which make Vienna and Blackcomb the same thing.
Fiji is meant to be Vista R2.
