I've installed Win7 HP, Office 2010 and some other basic stuff on a friend's Acer Travel Mate 2480 with 480 MB of RAM (32 shared) and it's running quite smooth. Believe! That thing was running crap Windows Vista Home Premium from factory. What is odd is that Acer support doesn't recommend Win7 for this notebook because of minimum requirements. :sphere2:

I think its because of Windows 7 enhanced memory management... :)
Even memory eater AutoCAD 2009 is working fairly.
