i decided to give yet another distro a try after several installs and reformats, i found (atm) that the uberyl beta has something to it (for me). i managed to finally get audio working in ubuntu (!!!), and so it was now down to which distro could do beryl, nice audio, and the automatix app off the shelf. i so far have had luck only with uberyl...so i'm gonna give it a shake down, and see what happens...

Never heard of that distro MO. Sounds cool! Good luck.
Feisty Fawn has the Beryl stuff pretty much built in. Somtimes spinning the desktop feels therapeutic.

it'd be nice if it was availble as a stand alone app.
