I vote for the latter.
I've checked in a couple times but I have to admit there was a pretty extended amount of time between visits for some reason (I blame women). Good to see everyone. I have missed pestering everyone with my wacky computer problems.
I finally gave into the smart phone craze at the beginning of the year or so. I actually really enjoy it. It's my music player, GPS, portable video player, SNES, NES, Sega Genesis, web browsing and email device, ebook reader (if I squint just right), and camera/video camera. Every now and then I make a call or two with it as well.
And I agree with the majority here that Windows 8 caresses balzaks.

I can't bleeping wait until Steam gets their games developed with OpenGL. It's better and will mean one less reason to have to boot to a paid OS.
