You know I wonder how long it will take before ALL PC's will be 64bit? I am guessing 5years

I could install Windows XP x64 edition, but there's still isn't ALL drivers for my hardware (the laptop itslef has everything, but my webcam, my printer, my camera, etc...). And I don't see the actual need for a new 64-bit system. Home users have no need to work with larger than 4GB RAM yet.

I firmly believe Microsoft will use Vista to push 64bit more, maybe with some differences between the two editions OR longer support for the 64bit version.

Im using an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ but Im still using 32bit windows. Last time I tried 64bit, some of my games didnt work and I dont want that to happen again

I am using an AMD 64 CPU too, but with 64bit windows of course. I dont play a lot of games, but the ones I like more work pretty fine.

Vista will be the real improvement though i am impressed with the 64bit XP!

64bit windows is only really ment to benifit you if you have 2GB of ram or more which I dont have I will end up buying some more for Vista though becuase I have a feeling it will need it!
