Microsoft has released a public beta 2 for Office 2007, and it is now available for download or by mail for anyone that wants to eveluate it. "Evaluate the next release of Microsoft Office products for testing and planning purposes with 2007 Microsoft Office system Beta 2. The beta release contains all the functionality of the regular release, but is not the final product."

i think we can blame the hammered server or MS instead
but i got my office 2007 activated in 30 minutes ago, about 1:00 AM

and i'm so lazy to create a new topic for that , BUT any feelings so far
or is it to fast to ask,
i personaly think it's faster then beta 1 and TR andit's not eating system memory any more, so , i'm positive and vaiting future buids

Between what I figured out on my own and what I saw at the Microsoft TS2 seminar last week, I'd say Office 2007 is definitely worth it. The best way I can describe it is "faster". Not faster in the sense that documents opwn or save faster, but faster in the sense that many common tasks can be accomplished in 3 or less mouse clicks, rather than digging through menus just to find the appropriate option to pull up a clunky dialog box.

For example, you can preview font changes live in the text of a word document. You can also highlight a table in Excel and create a chart in under 30 seconds. The interoperability between applications is also greatly improved. You can create an Excel spreadsheet inside a Word document (one click, no less), then click inside the table and get the full excel toolbars at your fingertips - WITHOUT having to hop over to excel first.
