AMD exclusively creates 64bit proccessors and Intel are slowly following the example, and although Vista will support 32bit, 64bit will be the preferred option.
Longhorn Server and Exchange12 WILL NOT come in 32bit editions.
Microsoft have decided that its time to support the future and stop developing the past. Don't get me wrong 32bit is ok but there will be a day without it!
This is coming, just like 16bit went and 32bit came in...do you see many 16bit computers around?
Get ready cos the technology world is already ahead two steps!
If you have questions about upgrading to 64bit ask away

i am excited about the 64bit revolution, it will be the beginning of faster computers, stability and in some cases security.
I don't see a reason not to upgrade, next time you buy a computer or upgrade, get a 64bit one
I just got a new motherboard and processor, the rest of it all worked and i can use 32bit stuff as well on a 64bit platform!

Saying that 32bit outperforms 64bit, that's probably because it has to emulate your 32bit apps..
(or maybe I just don't know what I'm talking about)
