i'm in the process of trying to vlite the win7 7127 x64...anyone have luck with it? i'm try to get win7 "professional" version without the hibersys and others (so i don't have to delete a ton of useless stuff after a fresh install on ssds). if i'm successful, do i need a "professional" key to get the rc version of it going, or will the old beta keys still work?

update: it worked (i think), as i now have a bootable .iso, and after letting it load within win7 rc, it says that "no valid key has been found..." or the like error message. so i now am doing the ultimate version to see if it floats. i used the older version of vlite, as the new version, under win7, requires you download some 1.3 gig thing to be vista sp1 compatible or the like? looks like it finished the shrink...

looks like the win7 ultimate version went through. i'd have to let it install to see if it really works, so for now i'll bag it until next weekend (waiting on new ssd FW before i re install)...

Meant to post this up earlier. I forgot about it until now. You don't need the 1+ gig file from MS at all. You can just add the attached files into the vLite install folder.
Thought I'd post as it might be useful for some.
