ah ha, a clue :smoke: if you don't have any funky apps or bugs, and you can't get rid of norton (even in safe mode?), a nice fresh install would seem a great alternative :lol:

yea ok I put vista on My dads computer I would have to take it out and put xp back it took me forever to get him to use xp

you havnt changed your login screen lately or themes?
