I know Virgin Mobile doesn't extend their services to northern Wisconsin (which is junk), but does anyone use Virgin Mobile that has visited northern Wisconsin and still get pretty decent service?

Virgin mobile's kind of pricey, but it's better than the Cingular or Verizon pre-pay service

Verizon Pre-Paid:
_______________________________________

you pay $1 per day reguardless if you use the phone or not.
You have to purchase "minutes" every 30 days or your phone will de-acitvate
You get charged 10 cents per minute to any non verizon number
BUT You have unlimited nights to call anyone, nights start at 9:01 p.m.

Cingular Pre-Paid: (pay as you go)
______________________________________
$1 per day IF and ONLY if you use the phone that day.
10 cents per mintue to any non cingular number
Unlimited nights after 9:01 p.m.
You can purchase minutes and get up to 90 days to use them without your phone going inactive.

Cingular Pre-Paid: (Pick Your Pan)
___________________________________
10 cents per minute to any non cingular number
Unlimited Nights starting at 9:01 p.m.
Draws directly from a credit or checking account and will shut off after it has reached the ammount of "minutes" you specify until you "re-fill" it

Isn't Virgin Mobile pay as you go anyway? I saw it advertised in a city an hour south, but can't get it here. What a bunch of junk!

I thought they were doing something like 25 cents per mintue for the first 10 minutes and 10 cents a minute after that but I think they changed to straight 10 cents per minute.

Well that's good, I'll have to look into it. I'll send an e-mail to the company and see if they're gonna expand their coverage to up here.
