Just a heads up, Vista 5744 has been released to beta testers :headset:

So, is this considered RC2 then? Or is that later on?

This is the last planned release to the beta program prior to RTM. They ask
that every single tester install and run this build to confirm fixes and
help them search for any remaining issues.

Please note the word "planned"

well, i went over to the dark side, and used IE and the akami DL manager (firefox and the direct download link
slowed way down). should be done in a couple of hours...

Been asked the question about ATI catalyst Control center, here is what you can do so far and also note, on the bottom left is the Out of the Box MS driver, on the right, is the ATI Driver, I didnt make any changes after installing the ATI drivers

For those looking at 5744 x64. I just did an upgrade install from 5728. By what I can see it was a smooth upgrade process. Everything is still there as it should be and the system is smooth and stable. I don't normally go the "upgrade" route but since I am playing with Vista I thought I would try it. As I use the system I will post back any thing that comes up or that I notice with the upgrade install...talker. :headset:
