Windows 8 Is a Desktop Disaster

I sat staring at the screen, my emotions lodged somewhere between dumbfounded and despondent. From what I was seeing, I knew I'd made a horrific mistake, and restitution must be made immediately. I'd been told time and time again there was no going back; what's done is done, you have to accept it, there's no living in the past. But a violation this total demanded from me only one response.
I had to uninstall Windows 8, and I had to do it immediately.

it's like using a kiosk OS. very public. nothing personal about it. period, not to mention counter productive. come on, 'touch'? what the? i think people with the 'touch is future' mindset are living in the last century, or total tablet heads, whom do nothing but watch youtube/text/'twitter'...lol...(oops, sorry scara... )

wow, total deja vu...
years ago, i had a dream that i was trying to use a computer, and all that would come up was the exact win8 metro: i thought i had a virus, so after trying to activate the system's AV to do a scan, it simply went back to the metro...terrified, i ran from this seemingly foreign home, and traveled post haste to the wrong side of town, looking for someone to hook me up with the good stuff: a non infected OS .iso...
