hehe. i just wanted something with decent performance and driver stability (i'm too old and tired to futz with stuff all the time), and no heat pipes. i won't be o'cing, so stock will need to do. i just hope i made the overall right decision. i'm sure i'll hear about it if i didn't lol

I dn't think there will be a problem with 7 and ATI once the final release is out-
ATI will develop a stable driver, but now is concentrating on released OS and not BETAS.
I think that the main issue is how much performance you can get for the money you want to pay.

man, i'm a happy camper. the system temp overall is much lower, my adaptec card is way happy (all the gpu heat seems to be exhausting out the back of the case. love it), and the weird "fan" it has (looks like a big "gear" cog) is super quiet. i think my single slot 8800gt was fine, it just got too hot (it is a factory OC'ed edition. i am thinking of buying an after market dual slot cooler for it, and calling it good). this 260 gtx is as big as a shoebox lol.
