For those who run Linux (not VMware style) on their desktop systems. what's your poison?

I've tried a few. I really like Suse but it can be a bit of a pain at times. I always (when I use Linux) end up using Ubuntu. Love the way it feels and looks.

Gentoo. I like the level of control it gives me, but I would never recommend it to anyone. You have to like the command line interface and enjoy fixing things when they break. For those who don't like such things, Ubuntu, Fedora, and OpenSUSE are all very good from my experience. I've also heard good things about PCLinuxOS and Mandriva.

Tried Fedora a few years back. Thought it very annoying and haven't bothered with it since.

Hmmm... I guess 6MB is only average. I'll have to consider an upgrade.

When MO first told me about this site many moons ago, he said, "You'll like X64bit.net, Mike. It's full of boobs." I had no idea this was what he was talking about.
