[Sphere]

I started to play FEAR combat, but, I'm having problems with my profile!

I deleted the default profile called "Player", and created my own (Sphere).
But when I join a game, my character name is still "Player", not Sphere!

Anyone has had this issue too, or knows how to fix it?

Been a while since I played the game but as far as I remember you need to set an online name in the multiplayer section of the options. I think the "Sphere" profile is just for single player.

I just, really just, about an hour ago (been playing ) figured the same thing...

I feel like an idiot now

Anyway, if ya wanna play on my server, give me a shout, I'm running a default 1.08 dedicated here for now.
Looking for more players, I really want more players here, I love the game. I used to play Unreal Tournament GotY, but FEAR rocks way more!

Just pm me if you get a response, you can enter the game (it's pwd. protected, and you need the server's IP to enter under favorites)


p.s.
I'd love to have some dedicated X64-servers! For any game would be fine, but to make me happy, go FEAR or Unreal... Would really be awesome!

Wow, the first UT, this brings back old memories of LAN parties soaked in virtual blood... And more recent LAN parties where we had to figure out how to make it run properly on fast machines and Windows XP and Vista!

I'm running a server for Unreal Tournament GotY, but on my 7-system, I have to run it in software-rendering 16bits, otherwise, the graphics run way too far behind for some reason!

I also have a FEAR server, and a TeamSpeak server.

All patched and safe, but only up when I want to


and yes, Unreal (Tournament) blood'n'gore matches... awesome! Although I like FEAR Combat better nowadays, more reality in it

Ooops, I still din'd know about this free multiplayer. The original F.E.A.R. is a great game, so this one must be too !
