Virtual PC is from Microsoft. It allows you to be running XP and within a window also running XP, Windows ME, Vista or other things like Redhat Linux.

It uses memory of course.

Other alternatives are available that do the same job. Go look for Virtual PC 2004 :)

and it doesn't work on server 2003 :) you have to run it in XP and run 2003 in it that way.

well put it this way, yes you can but if you got 512mb ram and you wanna allocate some for vista your gonna use some ram. I'd recommend XP, Server, Linux and things like that.

Yep it uses space.
